You need to try to scrap/file some of the dry skin off with a foot file first. Then wash and rinse your feet real well and let soak in a mixture of baby oil and water. Dry off real well. You can apply any type of moisturizing lotion for feet or body and then sleep in socks. Do this for about a week ( 7 days ) and you should be able to notice a difference in your feet. It will take some time to notice a big difference if your feet are as dry and cracked as you say they are. Good luck!! Hope this helps.
Avon has a very good range called "Footworks". They have a cream that you rub into your feet, then when you rinse your feet off, all the loose skin is gone. It is great. They also have great footworks product to help moisturise the cracked skin areas on your feet. They have a great foot soak product.
Dr. Scholles has very good creams and other stuff for feet. I buy it for my husband. You can pretty much but it anywhere. Wal-Mart, Wal-Greens, K-Mart any drugstore.
Liquid vitamin E, put it on every day with 100% cotton socks.
Do this and the thick skin and cracks will migically disapear
with normal scrubing.
I agree to scrape the dead rough skin off and The Body Shop has a great product called hemp and is great on dry cracking hand and feet. My friend uses this on her hands and feet and since using they have not cracked and bled. Best of luck!
Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/...
you have to get rid of the outer dry layer first, so best to have them foot scrub. When the dead skin is already out of the way and the new one is out, apply moisturizers and lotions to keep it smooth and soft. Try http://www.skinsosilky for some great products. Hope it helps!
