I have a sore on my upper lip, but I have been putting medicine on it and it won't go away...?


Question:
I have been putting campo-phenique on in as i thought it was a cold sore. It has been there for a week now. I was overzeaolous and caused it to erupt when i was messing with it. The medicine dries out the spot as well as the rest of my lips. I can still feel it and see it, but everyone else says they can not see it. What could it be or what should i take to get rid of it completely? I am really worried and I think thats adding to why it has been there so long.
