Is my health in danger from the medications I am on?
Question:
Answers:
Go back to your doctor and tell all of this to him.
If you are new on them, give your meds six weeks to get used to them and feel better.
the dosage might be too high for you =get the Dr to recheck this out
most people who take drugs for health purposes ,risk health problems
my uncle is bi polar and he was on those same meds.. get them changed!! i think drs are accustom to over medicating bi polar patients.. they think the more they sedate them, the lesstrouble they will be... and thats just wrong...i would say, take less of the seroquel. its the one that gave my uncle the most problems. try takin half of the prescribed dose, then see how ya feel... 200mg of seroquel a day is waaay too much!! he should have started you out with 50 mg a day.
that doctor is trying to kill you. you don't need all those drugs they are always trying to shove pill down our us its a conspiracy
Any time you are on any meds for any prolonged length of time, the risks of side effects becomes greater. I am very suspicious of most meds that are prescribed for great lengths or permanent meds. I told my doctors that I refuse to take any meds that have not been on the market for at least 20 years, too many of the newer ones have been pulled back off after only 3 or 4 years.
I was on both medications for years without any problem. I retired 3 years ago and quit taking all of my medications. I found that all of my problems were stress related.
Side-effects
Rarely, side-effects have a dangerous nature or intensity. Some tend to disappear with continued therapy, or are less frequent if the initial dose is low and increased gradually (vertigo, agitation, insomnia).
Most frequent: vertigo, headaches, nervousness, agitation, light-headedness, nausea;
Often (>1%) : drowsiness, insomnia, concentration disorders, confusion, depression, agitation, intestinal disorders, paresthesia, coordination disorders, tremors, disturbed vision, tinnitus, fatigue, weakness, Angina pectoris, sore throat, tachycardias, palpitations, dry mouth, pain in muscles and joints;
Seldom: allergic reactions, subdermal bleeding, extrapyramidal symptoms, hallucinations, psychosis, ataxia, epileptic seizures, syncope, tunnel vision, urine retention, alopecia, pruritus, hot flashes.
There are no dyscognitive side-effects like those seen in benzodiazepines.
Other side-effects have been seen, but are not more frequent than those encountered with placebo. An unusual side effect reported by patients has been an enhanced sense of smell.
ALL the drugs they give us HAVE side effects! We are test rats. We are making them tons of money while they are killing us!
anti depression medication will deplete the body of B vitamins that you need, this makes it hard to ever get off of them. I would say you should be taking a good B complex
