Does Metformin..?


Question:
Make you more fertile? I was recently put on Metformin and I am wondering if it can make you more fertile? What all does it do, I have a round about idea but I would like a simplified answer if anyone can give me one..

I also never have periods, but I think I ovulated today.. Sticky white stuff when I wipe. If anyone has any information on that please feel free to provide any..

Metformin is also used to treat Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Insulin Resistance besides Diabetes.
So, yes...it can help to regulate your cycles. This is probably what you are experiencing as it sounds like you are now ovulating.
metformin is mainly used to control diabetes, but my daughter has polycystic ovarian syndrome and they have put her on metformin, for some reason it can bring on periods when you havent had any for a while.....im not sure if it helps you to actually ovulate or not tho...
