Let the doctor clean it out - with such a buildup, using a qtip will just push wax further down the ear canal.
If your asking can it happen, yes it can.
If your asking if you have it, then you might if you dont clean your ears regularly. If your ear is block and you do clean your ears, then you might have an ear infection. That, or the air pressure in your home changes.
if you're suffering from earwax buildup you can try going to a health foods type store and pick up an ear candle.never used one but got one for my stepson once and he said it worked great
You can always see a physician to clear up the problem, but if you desire to do it yourself, here's how:
If you've got a rubber irrigator, use it with some clean warm water mixed with a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to gently flush your ear canal. To avoid a mess, do this while holding a curved bowl under your ear to catch the resulting flow of wax and liquid. Just keep doing this until you feel the ear canal clear up.
Try putting warm water into your ear and letting it sit. Then turn your ear to a towel to drain. You should see wax come out. Keep repeating until adequate results are reached. Also, can massage ear while water is in it to try and loosen up the wax.
Try hydrogen peroxide, pour into the ear, make sure to tilt your head to the side it will start fizzing as it does when you pour it over a wound, it will break up the wax. You may have to do this a couple of times depending on the wax build up. You could also try after the peroxide using warm h2o, you could use a syringe of some sort or something that will allow pressure to get the wax to flow out of your ear. Of course make sure you have a towel around your shoulders, otherwise you'll end up wet. good luck, it has worked for me
Ear candeling is awesome. Youll need help with someone to light and hold the candle. Its very good for people with ALLERGIES ALSO.
