When does acne go away by itself?
Question:
Answers:
I hate to tell you this..I still get it sometimes.....
I'm almost 43.
*****That is NOT true. Bacteria in your pores? No. Washing your face a lot will actually make your face break out more. Be gentle--get some acne wash and medicine at the drug store. Follow the directions. Don't think "If I use it 4 times a day instead of twice, it will be even better." Wrong. It will over dry it and it will be a disaster. Acne has a lot to do with genes/heredity. Ask your parents about their skin. Do they still get it sometimes? What do they use? If not, when did it stop for them? Your parents can tell you a lot about how YOU will be as you get older. You ARE them (as much as we sometimes hate to admit it).
Depends on how much oil and bacteria is resting in the pores. Just keep washing it and it should get better over the years.
Depends, could be you are prone to keep it, or it's gone tomorrow. Try Salicylic acid to unclog pores, before they get infected. If you are really committed to get your skin cleared up, change your diet, there is lots of info about diets for a healthy skin available, makes you overall healthier too.
I too had acne when i hit my teens...it remained with me for a long time...it cleared by the time i turned 20.
But thats me, ur body may respond differently...but am sure it will clear up soon.
If u dont want to play the patient game, go see a dermat, am sure u get a clearer pic after ur skin is examined.
women will get breakouts their whole menstruating life, men much luckier. Puberty acne will continue until about 20 (keep in mind that everyone is different). Try changing your diet to lower sugar, and lower fat intake, and washing you face with soap and water a couple of times a day should keep it more under control
After puberty it tends to goa way, meanwhile wash your face often AND wash you rhands freqently and keep them OFF your face.
there are medicines that are effective 10% benoxyl peroxie, and a precription for a tpical med called cleacin. If severe acne , there are drugs to treat it however unless disfiguring not recommended
foods etc do not cause the typical acne, its by hormones and release of sebum (oil), so if you eat well for healths sake, wash as directed youll do well!
This medication is used in the treatment of acne. It reduces the formation of pimples and promotes quick healing of pimples that do develop.
Patient instructions are available with the product. Read them carefully before using. Apply a thin layer to affected area at bedtime. Use a gauze pad or cotton swab to apply the liquid. Wash hands immediately after use. Using this medication more frequently or in excessive amounts does not improve the results, but may increase side effects. Avoid applying near the eyes, mouth, or open cuts since this medication can irritate sensitive skin. Even though acne may appear to worsen when the medication is first used, continue therapy. It may take three to six weeks before the full benefits of this medication are seen.
