Metastatic Melanoma patients haphazard of survival through BioChemotherapy?

My dad has Metastatic Melanoma stage four, and is currently anyone treated. Something called Biochemotherapy. I read a medical document stating patients taking this treatment will live longer. Stats: Overall response rates surrounded by phase II trials are 40% to 60% with complete responses of 10% to 20% and median survivals contained by the 11- to 12-month range. Modifications of concurrent biochemotherapy regimens hold maintained efficacy and reduced toxicity. Small phase III trials suggest a survival profit of biochemotherapy (P=.05).
His doctor says he will live two to six months, but I want to facilitate him out by finding an alternative cure that will extend his life span. please detail me taht Chemobiotherapy works for ALL patients...

Answers:    Anyone that tells you any treatment works surrounded by all situations is not describing you the truth. There is no alternative cure for metastatic melanoma. Your father has an aggressive cancer but it appears he is unloading cutting periphery treatment for it. Hopefully he will be in the percentile that responds.
