I am full blown diabetic and my doctor suggest I dont. Accord to her, there is a higher risk of inflection from the oils or the needles
You might want to talk to a doctor before you get one, but I don't see why it should be a problem.
As long as you are fine not eatting or taking your medication during that tattooing process. Check your blood sugar often... and be sure it is stable enough for you to spend an hour (more or less depending on the size and location) in the tattooist's chair.

Tattooing opens all people up to an increased risk for infection, but does not specifically affect diabetics.
I to am diabetic and would not consider a tattoo. Sure I would like to have one but remember when diabetic you get cut or scratched that it takes longer to heal and sometimes you don
t heal at all. Check with your doctor first because it could be dangerous.
This situation is best evaluated by your physician. You mention "full blown diabetes", so you may have impaired circulation and impaired wound healing. Then again, you may not. It may also depend on the location of the tattoo; typically diabetics have impaired peripheral wound healing/circulation.

If you decide to go ahead, be sure you use a licensed, reputable tattoo artist and be sure to tell him/her you are a diabetic. He/she, if reputable, may have suggestions regarding tattoo aftercare for diabetics.
i wouldn't take that chance ,because if you did get an infection it could cause a lot of trouble for you
I'd consult your doctor about it. I'm a diabetic and I have seven tattoos (I did get a few before I knew i was diabetic) I was advised by my doctor to never think of getting one anywhere near my feet, but other than that she never advised me against it.

I have never had a problem with a tattoo healing in a speedy amount of time, however I would ask your doctor before you make any kind of decision.
yes but you must watch out for infections at first stay away from your legs though they are more proned to getting infections and being diabetic makes it harder for your legs to heal when hurt also getting infections in your legs can cause you to loose toes and even your leg
