Pimples at age 26?

I would see a dermatologist. I would stay out of the sun the sun seems to bring the pimple to a head. I wouldn't pick it that seems to spread the infection under the skin. It can also scare your face for life. I and my mother at the age of forty plus still get pimples. I am assuming it has something to do with hormones.I think a dermatologist can give you something to control them. I don't think greasy foods has anything to do with it as some will say. I know it's emotionally troubling but hang in there and try the dermatologist.
Have you tried the Proactiv products? They tend to help a lot of people. It gets worse before it gets better. I've had bad acne in the past, but it will get better if you treat it. Hang in there.
I would recommend seeing a dermatologist that can give you a regimen that is specifically tailored to you. Using facewash with benzoyl peroxide and glycolic acid are useful. I've also used topical creams like Tazorac and Retin-A. Worth bringing up with your Dermatologist. And if worse comes to worse, you can always take Acutane orally.
Hope it clears up soon!
i have the opposite skin condition but i still break out at that time of the month well right before it... best advice i ever got was when i went to go get a facial done and the lady really knew what she was talking about and she put me on a good regimen for my skin. just take some time out for your self and have a facial and get a message relieve a little stress and get some good advice... just my opinion i know in your 20's (I'm there too) money can be real tight some times, but i will be the best money you spend on beauty care and also probably ALOT of stress relief for all the paranoia that zits can give you on your nose! i know how bad those are! good luck!
