Actually, this site is fairly informative if you sift through the bad answers.
14 is too high if you are in the UK. Too low if you are in the US or Canada. I don't know what standard you're using, so I'm at a disadvantage. In the US, your fasting glucose should be between 85 and 110. If you're in the UK, it should be between 5 and 6.
