I have the original mini.
No bells, no whistles. Its sleek and gets the job done. But if you want ultimate top notch I would go with the UltraSmart. I have this one and absolutely love it!
I got the free One touch ultra Mini meter a couple of months ago. It took about a month for them to ship it to me but it was worth waiting. I really like the one touch line of meters, and the ultra mini is great. it is simple to use. Before i had the one touch ultra smart meter with all the features on it. i rarely, if ever used any of the features though.

go to one touch web site and fill out the form, you do need the serial number off of your meter, also your meter needs to be a least one year old
I asked for a black one several weeks ago and have heard nothing.
