It goes away in a week or two..it doesn't happen all the time when she's exposed to the sun..also She is allergic to citrus for a long time ..What can she apply on the skin to get better..or should she go to the doctor..Can anybody help?Would appreciate the answer..

Answers:
sun screen does NOT stop you from getting a sunburn.
A tan is concidered a sunburn in the medical field. She should try calomine lotion.
She needs to go to the doc. Sounds like she might be allergic to the sun. When she goes out she should wear long sleeves and long pants and a hat. She does need to see the doc though and get tested.
Does she take any kind of medication or herbs? Some meds have this side effect.
I am not sure if solarcain has citrus in it, but I like it for sunburn.
