I have a serious road rash scar from an accident, can I ever make this go away??

there are many ways to get rid of scars. start using mederma as soon as possible, it works best on new scars. also there are other procedures, like going to a dermatologist and getting microdermabrasion, its a machine that blows little crystals out of a tube (exfoliating the old skin) which is all that a scar is, you will have to go to get multiple procedure done though. another procedure is lazer scar treatment from a dermatologist, alot of people think it cost alot of money, but really it isnt that much. well good luck and i hope i could be of some help!
