Are you ever, in any circumstances, supposed to touch or pick at your face when you have pimples?

Question:
I got this new soap, Oxy, and it seems to be working better. I think it might finally clear things up. Are you supposed to try to pop any pimples or touch your face when you have outbreaks or as the outbreaks are clearing up??

Answers:
I used to have severe acne in high school and believe me, I know it's very tempting to pop pimples. You just want to get rid of the darn thing. However, you shouldn't under no circumstance touch or pick at your face, period. Your hands carry germs, dirt, and oil that can be transferred to your skin, which can cause you to break out even more.
If Oxy works for you, stick to it

Best Wishes!
I don't think that is ever helpful.
when you pick at pimples you only make them worse. try washing your face four times a day and when you take a shower use your oxy pads. DO NOT PICK
No, because no matter if your hands are clean (dirty hands on face will cause pimples, because it gets dirt and other icky things in your pores) Dont pop them because popping them can push some of the pus and stuff deeper inside, causing the pimple to reappear or get infected. Dont touch, or pop. I dont always adhere to this rule, tho... I pop when the pimples have had a white head on them for a day or two.
No. I stopped that a long time ago.
Yes in some circumstances you should.
When a pimple, zit, or blackhead come to a head (where you can see the seed coming out of your pore) and is dry you should use a tissue to cover your fingers and pop it.

If your skin isnt able to push the bacteria out of your face and if you dont pull it out you can develop a skin condition in which your skin grows over your blackheads and other zits when they come to a head.

This skin condition can lead to cysts on your face that have to be removed by surgery.
