Growing moles?

Question:
well i'm not sure if the correct name for them is moles, but they are these tiny brown circles that appear on the skin, they just like blend in with the skin, they dont pop out or anything.
i have had them in specific places that i notice, since i was younger and had memorized the places where they are.
but lately there have been more and more of them coming, mostly on my face/neck..and i really don't like it..
i mean i was OK with having a few, but now i think i have too many..does anyone know what this is or if i can stop it?

oh and it's not acne, they are brown circular dots..thanks

Answers:
How tiny and how dark? Are they in areas of your skin that get a lot of sun? They could be freckles. If that's what it is, a sunscreen will help. Otherwise, I'd definitely go see a dermatologist.
They sound like sun spots. If they are just brown dots that aren't raised above the skin it probably is just a sun spot. There's no way to make them disappear, and the best way to prevent them would be to use sunscreen ANY time you are going to be outside. If you start noticing other colors blending with the brown, irregular raised edges, or asymmetrical raised edges then please see your doctor or a dermatologist about it. As long as they stay flat and brownish you should be okay. Hope this helps. :-)
Sounds like moles but it could also be brown spots from skin age-ing such as if you go tanning or spend alot of time outside. You can get lightening creams for this. The easiest way is just to put peroxide on them for a few weeks every day and they will lighten up alot.
