Consult your doctor.

Get a dehumidifier. Its the kind that sprays out cool water. Put it right next to your bed while you sleep and it will moisten your nasal passages. During the day, keep gum of hard candy around because it will increase saliva production. Good luck!
I quit smoking on May 14, and I don't remember having this problem... I do remember bronchial spasms, leading to coughing and gasping for breath, as my lungs cleaned themselves out. Those have subsided now. I'm breathing much easier.

I'm not sure your dry mouth and throat have to do with your quitting smoking. It sounds like the result of being a mouth breather while you sleep. Are your sinuses plugged up? Did this happen also before you quit smoking? (Congratulations on that, by the way.)

Whatever's causing it, the humidifier is a good choice, but if you can't afford one right now, you can keep a plastic bottle of water on your bedside table. Also, I exercised my lungs by blowing up a balloon, letting the air out of it, and blowing it up again.
i really don't know what you should take. it is due to quiting smoke this symptom you have. it's a way that you're body is telling you that sometihng is missing. well, the only thing missing is smoke, and good 4 you, you made a tough decision! maybe try drinking a lot of water to stay hydrated and chew a gum before going to bed. it will produce saliva which will moisturize our throat.
Water eliminates toxins from your body, including toxins from smoking. By drinking plenty of water, you will essentially be eliminating your smoker's life and starting fresh as a non smoker.

When you feel dryness in your mouth then you can have chocolates or any toffeys.

Have plenty of water and go for a work in fresh air or walk on the roof top after having meal.
this may sound wrong advice

but you first free yourself from smoking Ban

start it again.

and slowly come to a strategic fight ,,
when you smoke cigarette , be alert , take it out with your ful attention , light with full aletess, smoke with alertness , take one inhalation with alertness

and remember no guilt

just know that this is ILL pranayam , throwing air out is healty , but taking bad air is unhealthy

do remember this evertime you smoke

and then slowly come to another point ..
fix deadlines

you smoke 8 cigs then somke only 7 for a week, be comfortable . then 6 .. thus go on reducing

but do not jump and stop suddenly .. body can notadjust . which is addicted to nicotine since years . it will show illness

go ahead success is yours
i will suggest you get a humidifier for you bed room if it is only when you sleep. i quit smoking 30 yrs ago. it takes about 7 yrs to get all the nicitien out of your lungs so i am told. you were very wise to stop smoking. congratulations. hope the humidifier takes care of your problen. if that doesn work ask your dr what to do. good luck
