Can contracting genital herpes get you kicked out of the Army?
Question:
Answers:
Definitely not. My husband has genital herpes and is a captain in the US Army. And he even went to the doctor at the army hospital to get it checked out when he realized he had it. That was over a year ago, and he is still in. Nothing for you or him to worry about.
Pobably not. If you can be gay in the military then I am sure they dont care about the herpes. I have a friend who got married last year to a gentleman in the army. She has herpes. She didnt tell him until after they had slept together a few times. Then a few months later she found out she had chlamydia. He had it too, so it wasnt really known who had given it to whom, but he is still in the army.
Hell no. I was in the Marine Corps and I had herpes
since the first girl I nailed at 14 years of age. If the
Army kicked him out for such an asinine problem as
such afflicts us all it's out of date. The worst the Corps
did was expose people in public who had an outbreak
on the face. I never felt bad for the people and under-
stood, we are all in this together. A person loses a limb,
a person contracts malaria or perhaps herpes. Who
cares. We are all still fighting together.
I dont think so
