You guys need to go to a doctor and get checked. The bumps could be anything from allergies to scabies. If you think its a bed bug infestation you will need a professional as bed bugs not only hide in the cracks and crevices of your bed, but may be in curtains, pictures and other bedroom items. They are unfortunately becoming more of a problem as we have more intercontinental travel. You can find out more about the little critters by searching about.com or Yahoo.

Wash your sheets in HOT water.do you have pets?? Can you rule out fleas?? Otherwise, cleanliness is the best way to prevent bed bugs...wash sheets at least once a week..
They're kind've reddish in colour. You have to wash all your clothes and bedding in hot water. You may have to fumigate to get rid of them completely.
Check out this web-site and good luck.
One of my friends had this in college. She had all the little red bumps everywhere and they were itchy and painful. The campus wellness center didn't believe her and told her it was hives or it was all in her head. It wasn't until three months after it started that she was able to actually catch one of the bugs. You need to have your house fumigated to properly get rid of them all. In the meantime get rid of your sheets and bedding.

go to that link, it has alot of stuff about bed bugs. it sounds like you might actually have them. don't scratch the bites, put either calamine lotion or after-bite on them, and if your daughter is a kid, use after bite kids on her. to check if you have bedbugs, you should take the sheets off of your and your other family member's beds, take mattress and mattress cover thing off, and check both of those for small, red-brown bugs. also, look in your bed's frame, and on nightstands and other nearby furniture. to get rid of them, you should probably hire a pest control service, or an exterminator.
Wash your sheets and make sure to wash them on a regular basis.
