Strange skin problem. plz read.?
Question:
but since 5 -7 days it looks greasy , shiny. what's my skin problem.
first i couldn't be without moisturiser.but now i hate it.
Answers:
consult a dermatologist first.
Consult a skin specialist.
MOSTLY I MIGHT BE THAT YOUR PORES WERE CLOGGED WITH OIL AND YOU MIGHT HAVE GOT STRESSED UP A BIT,NONE THE LESS TAKE CARE YOU KEEP YOUR SKIN CLEAN OF THE DIRT AND OIL,WASH OF WITH COLD TAP WATER,THEN USEA TISSUE TO GET OFF THE OIL,OR ELSE CONSULT YOUR DOC.
Wash your face with water 5 - 6 times a day, Dont use soap as that will make your skin even more dry. use moisturiser that will keep your skin nice and glowing, And also consult a dermatologist coz there might be some vitamin deficiency also.
Since you are in your teens, this sudden change in your skin texture may mostly be due to changes in hormonal level. This can also happen due to changing climatic conditions. This problem is not strange. Many (including me) hav undergone a similar experience.
At times, normal skin becomes suddenly oily and oily skin becomes utterly dry.
To get rid of greasy, shiny skin, just wash your face with a mild soap (Dove is gud) and in warm water 4-6 times a day.U can also use a soap-free face wash.Apply a gud face-scrub once a week.Don't apply moisturiser. It'll aggravate your problem and may make way for pimples. Go for standard non-greasy face creams (available in plenty in the market) which suits your skin type.Your skin will look better. If not, then consult a good dermatologist.
Change the soap, you wrote, "i wash my face 3-4 times a day with DOVE soap & then i apply NIVEA moisturiser which is for normal skin". Dove is a moisturiser soap, try eleminately both and then add one if necessary.
Tryal and error, body chemistry changes a bite at this age and also time of the year (seasons play big roll, activity play a roll too, if you have started running, exsersising).
Washing your face that much might be drying it out so your pores are making more oil. I would try only washing once in the morning and once at night.
Overwashing the skin will make it more oily.
