How long till accutane works???

Question:

Answers:
Give it time. I took it about 5 years ago, and the initial breakouts were horrendous. After 8 or 10 weeks, my skin changed drastically, it was no longer oily and was absolutely "perfect" - what I had wanted during my teenage years. Now, so many years later, I only have random small breakouts. Good luck!
Ask your dermatologist.
holy crap, stay away from this stuff.. im very serious. when i was in highschool (10th grade) i had a little bit of acne. it wasnt bad at all.. my dermontologist prescribed me this medicine.. well, in the back read everything. it can cause really bad depression, which i didnt know of.. well, i didnt know for a long time why i always felt so down and gloomy.. plus the stuff DIDNT work! the best stuff i have used is the nuetragina(sp?) soap. its the orangy type that turns to foam. use it twice daily and you should see results quickly
It takes about 6 to 8 weeks to show improvement.
5-6 months, however sometimes it works immediately. I was on it a few years ago, it was horrible. I hated it. It made my normal 15yr old acne into an explosion on my face, it took 5 months before the huge monsters finally went away, then i had really dry skin for a while. It lasted about a year before things went back to normal. I like proactiv now. It has really cleared up my skin.
