What's the best way to stop a mosquito bite from itching?

Question:
I just got bitten 6 times on the leg in the last 5 minutes and they all swelled up terribly. Any advice on how to deal with it?

Answers:
Get the "skeeter stick" from your local drug store. Benadryl puts out a bug bite stick, too, that really helps. If the store is closed, try regular rubbing alcohol. But beware, it stings.
Rub antipirspirant on them.
make an "X" with your finger nail in it. or buy some anti-itch creme from the local drug store. if all else fails just do something to keep your mind off it. as for the swelling part put some ice on it, it may stop the itch too.
You could try peeing on it --- works for jellyfish stings.

Try some ice until you can get some anti-itch creme
This is really simple but really works. Take a washcloth and soak it in as hot water as you can take. Compress it on the bite for a bit and the itching should go away.
Calamine lotion. Don't scratch. Or follow the options in the source below.
