I'm going to a spa to get a facial. what can i expect?

i have HORRIBLE skin. i'm 24 and have constant breakouts, and i'm positive it has a lot to do with me having so many blackheads and dirty pores. but i've used the biore strips and nothing helps! i feel so helpless because i've tried everything! proactive, zink soap, antibiotic soap, prescription meds, alcohol, clearasil, nutragenia, st ives.. you name it, i've tried it!!! and nothing is working! so i just want the spa to clean out my face and give me some pointers on how to prevent future breakouts. but i've never had a facial before, what can i expect? anyone know how much one usually costs?

Well you can expect to pay 30- 100$ depending on what you have done,the more services & products you use the more expensive it will be.My personal advice is to just keep washing your hands & face a few times/day to try & keep the oils down. ps. a few prayers never hurt anything either,so WTH,just be carefull what you pray for eh!( reason peoples say this,He does answer prayer!)

i am with you. i have the same thing... its on my face, back, chest, and shoulders. so anyone out there with the answer, id love to hear it too because, actually, i have tried everything she listed on here too.

i think instead of going to a spa for a facial you should rather go to a dermatologist and have them check your skin first. you might not need a facial and just some treatments that dermatologists offer. if you just want a facial, almost all dermatologists have facial services in their clinics. i really think its better to go to a dermatologist when it concerns your skin coz they know what their doing. although i think it may have a higher cost but you can at least try because your skin is very important.
