My ggt was 112 fasting, then 216,216,209 post, ha1c5.4, do you think I will have to start on meds?

Question:

Answers:
your ggt is pretty high, but your hemoglobin a1c is within the normal range. however, i've never thought of ggt as a great predictor of diabetes because so many other influences can cause it to elevate. so judging alone by your ha1c, i wouldn't think so. however, i'm not an endocrinologist and really can't touch much on the ggt.
