Who thinks that pot should be legalized just like cigarettes and tobacco?

well you know why its illegal?? because the government cant tax it if you grow it in your own backyard.

I absolutely agree.
There are no studies directly linked to MJ causing cancer or any other health problems. Thousands upon thousands of people smoke it, and the law is devoting all their time to catching people in the act. Why are they wasting so much time on it when they already know that everyone does it.
Youth smoke illegally and the law does absolutely nothing about it. The law says you have to be of age to buy cigarettes, but when it comes to smoking them, they do nothing. Its a fact that cigarettes KILL! They have nothing on MJ.
Another thing, alcohol has a much worse effect on people's motor skills and judgement compared to MJ and people do much worse things when they're trashed than when they're stoned. People who get high just sit around, eat, and have a great time. People who are plastered puke all over the place, and they are frequent dangers to themselves and others. Its virtually impossible to OD on weed, given the fact that you would have to smoke over a Kilo in 15 minutes, but its very simple to get alcohol poisoning and require your stomach to be pumped.
LEGALIZE.
It grows in the wild, why can't we just enjoy what we've got while we've got it?

I'm all for it, and I've never smoked it, and I never will. There's really no logical reason for it to be illegal.
I'm totally with you. Who has heard of anyone overdosing from marijuana or dying from it? It can also help alleviate pain and stress. I think it's stupid that alcohol is legal but not marijuana.
Considering that it has medical advantages, why not.
Many people already smoke it when it's illegal, and there is no way of ever stopping it from being grown and sold, governments may as well give in and legalise it.
And just how do you expect to afford it? If it gets taxed and regulated the price will soar. Look how much cigarettes, alcohol, and gas cost.

Pot legalized! That's funny! I don't think it will ever happen. I used to know a lot of people who would say hell yes to legalization. I almost would say yes too. Why not. It is easy to get anyways. I used to do it. Don't smoke anymore. It ain't no worse than cigarettes. Pot does help cancer patients with pain so I say legalize it so people don't got to suffer.
hemp was once a top crow here there are many more uses that are better than what we are using in its place it was just some church going panties sniffers didnt like it. it was here before alcohol ,,, if it grows wild its not strong and think about this god made it and who says god is wrong now what you got to say puff puff pass
I think that it is all the government to they want to make money off of everything. I would like to see it be soled like alcohol and cigarettes. But the bad thing is that people can get mean and it could mess with your brain!!
Tobacco and cigarettes should be illegalized like pot is. It has no real fringe benefits, as compared to the side effects.
I totally agree! I am not going to go into my usual rant about it because it has all been said before.. but we would get out of this defecit we are in pretty quickly!
