Is this dangerous?

Question:
i have just heard that my brother aged 76,has got fluid on his lungs, have i got reason to be concerned

Answers:
well you do need to worry b/c of his age. Fluid on the lungs is bad but it is cureable and treatable..but iff you don't get the right treatment then it can be deadly. So don't worry to much!
yes - fortunately it can be drained.

shouldn't really be saying this but it's kinda like drowning...
Would say that it is not normal. Surely he is under the care of his GP.
Make a point of speaking to his GP to find out what is happening.
Yes. They can drain it. But they need to be on the watch for pneumonia. Lots of people his age and older can die from pneumonia. Good luck to you.
Yes there is reason to be concerned, so if he isn't already he needs to see a doctor and get it checked out.
PS- I'm not a doctor myself.
Unfortunately the answer is yes but that doesn't mean he will not recover. I'm sure his doctors will be giving him the best treatment.
Best wishes to you and your brother.
This quite dangerous. Its fairly easy to sort, the fluid can be drained with no ill effects.

However, if left untreated, this can be fatal.
yes - but it depends on the cause. has his doctor given him appropriate medication?
