If i want the bump on my nose shaved down is that rhinoplasty?

thats the only thing i want fixed, i want to ask my doctor (if and when he does septoplasty and whatever else is needed to fix my breathing) to just shave down the bump i got from the collision, is that considered rhinoplasty, or can he just do it and not have to consider it that?

Yes,it is. I had both procedures done, and it is best to have both done at the same time since the surgeon will already be in there for the septo. You may want to consult a cosmetic surgeon and see if he/she can do the septoplasty as well as the rhinoplasty (mine did). If not, you may have to schedule a surgery where a cosmetic surgeon does the rhino, and an ear/nose/throat doctor does the septo. Good luck!

The surgery is rhinoplasty but I don't know if your doctor is going to charge you for it. Probably will though, the septoplasty is more reconstructive plastic surgery and the rhinoplasty is cosmetic so it doesn't make sense that he will do it for you free of charge.
