When someone asks you if you have pain..?

Question:
When a doctor asks you if you have pain with urination, ruling out a kindey infection, where is this pain? In the kidneys? In the urinary tract?

Answers:
If you have a kidney infection the pain oddly enough comes from your back just about at the 5th rib up and it usually radiates around to the front of your abdomin then sort of travels down to the lower front of pubic area. Its usually referred nerve pain that makes it feel this way. If you have a urinary tract infection you can't urinate and feel like trying to push urine out all the time. Good luck hope it not kidneys. Drink lots of water it does help to flush out infection even though it hurts.
It may be either of those places, as well as in the bladder itself. But when he asks it this way, he's asking if it burns when you urinate.
mostly it´s the urinary tract...inflammation or yeast
It could also be a bladder infection, or even a STD(some do hurt the urinary tract). Or it could be the onset of diabetes(burning sensation when urinating). So it is important to describe the kind of pain as well as possible.
That type of irritation is generally related to a kidney infection or STD. Simple cultures and testing for STD's can rule out both. There is also the possibility of a partner causing accidental trauma during intercourse. I have seen that before in the clinic I work in.
pain with urination to me translates as it feels like you are pissing FIRE. it BURNS to pee. you kidneys may be tender to pressure, or a general ache, your bladder can have spasms (bladder infection) that feel like cramps.
I would believe the urinary tract.
