Red skin PLEASE HELP!?


Question:
when ever i do physical activity i get very red skin, even when i play ice hockey in the cold. ive tried wasing my face with a calming clenser and ive tried cold water to the face but it still doesnt go away until about an hour afterwards. if you have any sugestions on what i should do please do tell me. :]

It is quite likely that you have pre-rosacea. There are actually 3 stages to rosacea:

1. Pre-rosacea. You flush easily due to excess dilation of blood vessels in your face.
2. Vascular rosacea. The blood vessels become permanently dilated and may break.
3. Inflammatory rosacea. Acne-like pustules and bumps spread across your face.

Rosacea must be diagnosed and treated by a physician. Calming cleansers only temporarily relieve the redness; cold water does not affect the redness. There are many prescription medications that can help your pre-rosacea now, before you progress to a further stage.

maybe you are allergic to the stuff
You might have rosacea,but i think that would mean your face is always red.You could also be working your self to hard,in which case,slow down.
