Tring to find someplace to take used needles(sharps)from diabetic medicine from my dog?

take them to your vet and let them dispose of them
local hospital, in their lab
instead of a jar check your nearest medical waste plant. they will set you up with a legal sharps container and then exchange it when it is filled . they will then incinerate the needles.
Take them to your dogs vet.
They also have a drop box in bathrooms of truck stops for diabetic's.
Clinics, Hospitals, etc.
CALL YOUR DOC ASK IF YOU CAN DROP THEM IN THERE WASTE NEXT TIME . I SEAL MINE UP IN 2 LITER BOTTLE TAPE AND LABEL USED NEEDLE DONT TOUCH AND TOSS IN TRASH
if you are getting the insulin from your vet, they should also give you a sharps container. they should tell you to bring it back to them to dispose of properly when the container is 3/4 full.
sometimes local fire departments will take them. you can buy sharps containers at pharmacies.
