Why does your back hurt after an asthma attack?

Question:

Answers:
During an asthma attack, you muscles are contracting, tightening, loosening, then tightening again. It's like an exercise session multiplied by ten. After the attack subsides, your muscles finally relax and are sore from the extra work. The same thing happens when you laugh really hard. Your sides, back, stomach, and even cheeks will ache.
I have asthma and i think its because our lungs got so tight and not enough oxygen, but I'm not an expert.
I have had asthma since I was a child it grew worse as I got into my teenager years. I have had back problems but it was never in anyway connected to my asthma. It is possible when you were struggling for air that you could have strained a muscle in your back. I would definetely go see a doctor preferably a respiratory specialist if I were you.
You use all kinds of muscles to cough. It's a good idea to strengthen your back muscles anyway, might help! :)
