I have a small bump above my knuckle?

Question: i woke up last sunday 7/22/07 with a bruise above my knuckle. & no i did not get into any physical fights,had a cut on it nor have i been scratching it.day by day the redness got bigger and in the center a small bump appeared here are some pictures

what is it and what can i do to get rid of it?

Looks like an infection however, whenever you have any type of bump you should consult a doctor.It may turn out to be nothing but you never know. My Mom found a lump and it was cancer. If she did not go to the doctor right away, she may not be with us anymore. So go see a doctor! I know it is a pain in the butt! But do it anyway!
