Heart Attack?

Hi, yesterday while working on my motorcycle I was shocked by my spark plug. Look, this seems a bit funny, but over the last 30 years of wrenching on bikes this was not the first time. This feeling was different. The shock sensation was so painful and centered in the middle of my heart. It felt like a needle was stabbed straight into my heart without warning and hurt for 20 mins. Today my left chest has been sore, like a bruise sensation and my energy has been low. No other heart fluttering or pains except sorness. Do you think I had a heart attack?

NO. many people that have there heart stop and have to have it restarted by defibrillator have the same pain. what you have is a bruising of the heart and chest muscles from the impulse of the shock.

Ask someone that the cops have used a taser on what it felt like for days. There it does it to your whole body.

Good possibility you did!!! Why are you asking us on here, get to the hospital asp. When you have an attack the first 36hrs are the most dangerous, can keep happening and get worse.

I suggest you see a doctor..

I don't think you had a heart attack. I think you had an electric shock...

Go see a doctor for goodness sake!

You most likely did some muscle damage; however the only way to know for sure is to go to the ER and tell them you are having chest pain. They can do some blood work and an EKG (to see your heart rhythm) that will help them determine if it is only muscle damage or if it was a heart attack.
