Emphysema from pets?!?

Question:
Someone told me that pet groomers can develop emphysema by inhaling dog hair/pet dander. Does anyone know if this is true?! I looked online, but didn't find much on the subject.

Answers:
No, Emphysema is caused by smoking 99% of the time. Emphysema is an obstructive disease. Inhaling chemicals and pet hair can cause asthma, also an obstructive disease or a number of restrictive diseases. Not emphysema.
Probably not- if it was, it would probably be alot more publicized.
