How do plug-ins affect asthmatics condition?
Question:
Answers:
Asthma is a disease with a very broad bunch of triggers. The kids with asthma you previously had may not have been sensitive to perfumes/fragrances/smells. Asthma triggers can be: red or yellow food coloring, diesel exhaust, ozone, smog, flowers, dust, smells, anxiety, stress, certain foods, exercise, pet dander, and many, many more things I don't remember at the moment. The reaction to a trigger may result in a fatal asthma attack. A hospital I was in had banned scented deodorant and it seems that more places are becoming allergy/asthma friendly like that. So, I switched from Old Spice (probably an improvement anyways) to Mitchum unscented. No problem. You should be alright so long as your air freshener is unscented or hypoallergenic. The package may say something about being hypoallergenic or be made specifically for sensitive populations.
Scented anything can trigger an asthmatic attack. Best to use a disinfectant when noone will be around until the air has cleared.
