My husband had an anxiety attack and thought it was a heart attack. I was told that stress affects the chest area, so it may be stress. Really you should go to the Dr. just in case.
you might have heartburn. sometimes it can cause chest pain in the middle of your chest. I have lived with it for years now. But, I would definitely see a doctor about it.
