Sounds like it was just a big nasty pimple.
The yellow stuff is pus (old dead cells) and the red (just a touch of blood in it) which is normal.
Often they refill as there is still dead cells and infection present.
The hole will heal up quite easily.
Keep it really clean - wipe it with warm water a few times per day
keep your fingers off it (hard to do)
if you get any signs of bad infection (hot to touch, increase in pain, redness that spreads over your nose, bad odour, ooozing muck that is green/yellow and just keeps oozing) go see a doctor,
It needs to get rid of all that pus and muck to heal well which is should do now.
you may end up with a little scar.
never pop pimples, just let them do their thing. and if you must, make sure your hands are clean and use some rubbing alcohol on it. leave it alone!!
Don't worry about it.
Of course the hole will heal, its not going to be there for the rest of your life.
Its ok to squeeze spots, as long as your fingers are clean and you're not pushing the infection further into your skin.
If you've messed with it with dirty fingers it may well be infected.
Leave it alone and bathe it in saltwater.
It should clear up soon.
name it patty, put some hair on it and say its your sister.
Dude, see a doctor. u really shouldn't have kept on poping it. that causes serious infection and scaring.
My sister had a hole left over from a pimple and she had the doctor put one tiny stitch to close it up and now you can not see it at all.
You really shouldn't have popped it. That can spread it ans cause a skin infection. Apply pressure and call a dermatologist and set up an appointment as soon as possible.
Leave it alone, but it'll probably take a while to heal. If it doesn't get any better for a long time, you should probably go see a dermatologist.
it should heal at least mostly... don't pop it again if it comes back. Go to your doctor if it gets really red and swollen and hurts a lot. Even if its not infected, checking wouldn't hurt.. You may end up with a small scar there, but it would probably be really easy to cover with makeup... Hope that helps :)
NEVER listen to ANYONE that says popping your zits will make them grow faster, not even your parents. All it will do is create the pit you have in your face now, and the more you pop it, the more infection will spread. Attack it with rubbing alcohol instead, it will dry the zit out quick after a few days. Until then, HANDS OFF!
It sounds like you have an abcess- also known as a sebaceous cyst. There is a sac inside the skin filled with infected tissue. The abcess needs to be drained by a doctor and packed with sterile gauze. See your doctor to have this taken care of. AND STOP TOUCHING IT.
it will heal. believe me been there done that. lol
this has happened to me before with the hole thing it just healed back.
you could go buy some clean & clear stuff to put on it idk if it will help but probly.
maybe try neosporin but im no doctor so idk if that would work or make things worse haha.
the bleeding will stop. its just getting all the infection out that needs to happen. maybe try putting a warm washcloth on it?
if worse comes to worse you could always go to a dermitalogist [sp?]
goodluck! =]
First, keep your hands away from it. Your father should be smacked for his stupidity in telling you to mess with it. What you've done is simply spread infection deep into the tissues and you'll now have to go to the doctor for proper treatment. Fail to do so, and it will only get worse and you'll wind up disfigured for life.
Apply mild pressure to the spot for ten full minutes, using a clean facial tissue such as a kleenex. DO NOT take it away to see whether it has stopped bleeding - keep steady pressure there for the full ten minutes. THEN if it has not stopped bleeding, have someone drive you to the nearest emergency room or urgent care clinic.
First please keep your hands off of it for a while...you could be making the infection worse by any germs that may be on your hands. For the time being you need to apply gentle pressure on it with a clean cloth until the bleeding subsides. Once this happens clean it gently with mild soap and apply an antibiotic ointment such a neosporin to it..and for the nite it would be wise to wear a bandaid over it to keep the medicine on the site and absorb any further drainage. Be prepared.it will be ugly for a few days...it will scab over but remain reddened for awhile. Again try to keep your hands off of it while it heals...avoid picking at the scab...it will take a while for the skin to heal completely so be patient. I wish you luck.
