I think you mean muscular dystrophy - unfortunately there is not a cure right now, though I think they are getting closer. I have a good friend who has this, and so does his mother. There are treatments such as steroids and physical therapy but as of right now, no cure. Still, my friend and his mom both have active, productive lives; he finished law school and is now the father of twins. Stay hopeful and positive and good luck!

Muscular dystrophies are inherited, progressive muscle disorders resulting from defects in one or more genes needed for normal muscle function. They are distinguished by the selective distribution of weakness and the specific nature of the genetic abnormality involved.
There are no known cures for the various muscular dystrophies. The goal of treatment is to control symptoms. Inactivity (such as bed-rest and even sitting for long periods) can worsen the disease. Physical therapy and orthopedic instruments (e.g., wheelchairs, standing frames) may be helpful.
The following organizations are good resources for information on muscular dystrophy:

Mascular dystrophy can be cured if all the near relatives of the patient start doing meditation for half an hour daily for one to two years under the guidance of an experienced spiritual teacher and passing some of the power got by them to the patient. In the first month itself, aleast 5 percent relief can be noticed in the patient.
