I'm not a doctor, but she requires professional medical attention. If you can drive, drive her to the hospital or a nearby clinic. If not, ask a friend to drive or call a cab. Bring the young'un too.
Please call an ambulance for your mom right away. Good luck.
my opinion is, take her to the emergancy room.
this could be serious.
or it could be an allergic reaction.
but a trip to the emergancy room can help.
i hope shes okay.
Please get her to a doctor.
She really needs to go to the doctor. Swelling usually indicates an infection, but it could be flareup of a nerve, causing trigeminal neuralgia or Bell's palsy. You must always be cautious of pain that's only on one side of the body, too, because that's an indicator of something serious, too. If she doesn't want to go, remember three numbers: 911. You need to take initiative, because if she's bedridden, she needs some help, here.
call an ambulance.asap...goodluck
please, i am a home health aide. get your mother to the hospital NOW. i have a client with the same thimg. fibromyalgia. im talking to her as i read your question. she said the same thing has happened to her. she said to get your mother to the hospital now. call the squad if need be. she will not give me the details of why she say now, but just get her there now. better safe than sorry. she and i both hope you get her there, and she is ok.
well strokes can do this as well as bell's palsy...see a neurologist soon....
it could also be signs of a stroke hate to spaz you out but she really needs to go to the er right a way and get checked out,the longer you wait the more harm it does and the recovery time is longer
