Persistent itchy rash on one side of my face?

Question:
I have a place on my face that keeps coming back. It's red and itchy and scaly and I know that sounds like eczema but I don't understand why it's only in one tiny spot. I keep putting hydrocortisone (sp?) cream on it and it goes away but in about 2 weeks it comes back in the EXACT same spot. Any idea what this could be?

Please don't answer with some solution to make it stop itching... I want to know WHAT it is.

Answers:
It could be a few things, but only a MD can properly diagnose you by seeing it up close.
It sure could be eczema - or contact dermatitis
you need to be evaluated to see what sort of skin condition it is, what could be causing it, hormones, stress, genetics, food, allergies..
keep a journal when it comes back (food, stress, sleep, new clothes, fabric soaps, new facial soaps, using mineral oil, make up, etc)
