Any ezcema tips??
Question:
Any tips?

The best solution for eczema is dietary. Physicians can prescribe all the emollients, antibiotics, ointments, steroids & antihistamines they want but I have never seen any of these things work in the long run. Toxins in your body erupt on your skin and no amount of creams will eliminate that problem.
Stop eating processed foods & sugar. Drink lots of water. Eat lots of low or no sugar yogurt. Take a really good multi- vitamin. I would go especially heavy on the vitamin C. Vitamin C at 1,000 to 2,0000 milligrams per day has been shown to significantly reduce eczema. If you can also try to include flax and/or fish oil in your diet. Zinc also helps skin problems. I have known people who have gotten rid of eczema & psoriasis just by detoxifying and cleaning up their diet. Good luck!!
Try a cream called 'Chickweed' you can get it at most health shops and on the internet - it is great for excema and when you 'google' it you'll find many sites where doctors have recommended it for excema. It clears up my baby's excema very quickly. Good luck.
My boyfriend's eczema cleared up completely when I stopped using fabric conditioner on his clothes and the bedclothes. May be worth a try. . .
in the health shop try potters ezcema cream, my sister and myself used it and then i used it on my daughters and now we use it on our grandson, our family has used it for 45 years and it does not contain any hydrocortisone. good luck.
When you run a bath, put a muslin bag of oats under the running tap, and then soak yourself in the water. It does work - honest
Antihistamine will probably only work if the eczema is allergy related otherwise it is pointless taking it. Try to identify what it is that causes the eczema (have a think back about what you have changed about your life when it appeared) it can be anything, an allergy to food, diet intake, washing powder, dust mites, so many things. I find the Aqueous creams dont do alot more than moisturise and that using a steroid cream is alot better. I use Betnovate and it clears eczema up within 12hours (ideally administered before bedtime and very sparingly) even when my eczema is bad i only put it on once and it is gone. Try changing to non-biological washing powder and a sensitive showergel/ bubble bath/ soap as this is in general less irritating to the skin, try to wear loose, cool (like cotton) clothing when it is hot as heat can also initiate eczema. Hope that helps.
I used to have awful eczema growing up which got worse and worse until I was literally covered from my neck down. I used to get weeping patches, too. We tried loads of stuff, from E45 cream to specific bath oils and homeopathy. I cut out foods like bacon which are rumoured to trigger eczema.
I don't want to sound ridiculous, but my eczema stopped a couple of weeks after meeting my future husband.
The only thing I can put it down to was that I was happy. Eczema is known to be a stress-related condition, so try to think of all the things which make you happy and relaxed and do more of them! I now eat bacon and salty foods and I haven't had a single patch of eczema in the eight years that I've known my hub.
That's the psychological side out of the way...try not to use soaps very often and drink lots of water. All of this worked for me; I can't guarantee it'll work for you, but give it a go.
Try not to get stressed, do things you like doing more often than you have been, drink lots of water and hopefully you'll get better!
