I REALLY need your help! Im so confused!?

Last night he told me that his ex-wife gave him an STD. He also told me that he had it cleared up and it is no longer there. I know STDs cant be cured forever, but I dont want to be SHALLOW and stop talking to him just because he revealed that he has an STD. I am scared to have sex or to get intamit with him but im not sure what i should do. Ive never had to deal with anything like this before.
What should i do?

It really all depends on what std it is. At least he is being honest with you and telling you about it upfront.
Go talk to your doctor and take him with you don't take any more risk than you have and can afford to take
What kind of STD is it? You don't have to break it off with him because of his STD but you need as much information on it as possible before sleeping with him.
Ask him exactly what he had and if he gets testy with you about having to answer questions tell him it concerns your health and so,of course, you have a right to ask questions.
Using a condom doesn't prevent the passing of some STDs so don't assume you'll be safe ignoring the situation and just making him use condoms (i.e. herpes can be passed even with condom use).
Figure out what he has and then repost with more information.

Don't deal with it! The guy is still having sex with his ex. So he says. He for sure is having unprotected sex. You have no way of knowing where he got the STD or if he got treatment. But he did let you know about it; so don't have sex with him.
