Can someone tell me how to cure bumps around my bikini zone.?

Question:
If I shave or use a hair remover I develop boil like bumps which get septic after a while and when I squeze puss comes out Sometimes they get so bad I get feverish. I have been told its caused by ingrown hairs. I am so desperate to resolve this as it is quite an embarassing condition.

Answers:
Yes, this is an infection called foliculitis. Your ingrown hairs get infected and a little area of pus develops. As the previous person said, try to shave better (or not at all--just cut the hair really close to the skin but don't shave it). You can get antibiotics from your doctor, or it should probably clear up on its own if you just keep it clean down there--but, don't super-scrub it, just use normal soap when you take a shower.
Yes, they are ingrown hairs. When the hair grows beneath the skin. The body thinks is a germ or something like that, and attacks it.That's why it looks like a bump.
What you can do is try to shave at the same direction the hair grows, even if you don't get a close shave.
You can always talk to your dermatologist.
There is a product called Tendskin. It comes in a blue bottle and it works wonders.

When you first put it on it will still like crazy but that only lasts about a minute. Put it on a couple of times a day.

I have had great success with it as have my 2 teenage girls.
try some aftershave, works for some people
