Cure for Hepatitis?
Question:
Answers:
There is a newer treatment for hepatitis B that has been also used for hep c. Pegasys is the name of the drugs that are used in treatment. The success rate is about 32%. There are other drugs used to treat Hep B (HBV) such as lamivudine and epivir. These medications can be used to keep the virus suppressed for awhile, but sometimes people develop a drug resistance to them after using them for a period of time. Treatment with Pegasys is usually a year of injections & pills; they are a milder form of chemotherapy. If you have a history of depression, you will have to be on an antidepressant prior to starting the treatment. It is a form of chemotherapy, so it is not easy, but it can be done. I did the treatment 7 years ago (for HCV) and have cleared of the virus since. Check out the links below for more information. Best wishes.
no there is not
no...there is a vaccine to prevent hep-B,but no cure...only treatment...
There is a vaccine not to get hepatitis a and b there is a treatment for hepatitis c you have to go to a liver specialist he would have more knowledge how to treat and how to recovery
Hepatitis means "inflammation of the liver"- Hepatitis B is an intracellular virus that "can-lead" to chronic active hepatitis. There is an immunoglobulin that can be given once someone is exposed to Hepatitis B. Also most of the time the bodie's immune system prevents someone from developing active Hepatitis B disease.
