Answers:
Go to dlife.com. A site for diabetics and full of info. But the first thing that comes to mind on your question is, are you looking at someone who is treating their diabetes or someone who doesn't follow guidelines and is out of control. Death is the major thing for someone who doesn't take care, amputations, blindness, lose of kidney function are just a few others.
well if they dont take care of their selves they can go blind . that is only one thing there are several things that can happen . good luck .
Damage to blood vessels can cause blindness, heart disease, loss of limbs, kidney failure, and many, many other problems.

Good diabetic management is crucial--but can be very hard to achieve. Even the most compliant diabetics can experience severe sequelae of the disease.
my brother has type 1 and his doctor explained alot of serious risk and complications that could happen.he said the chances get smaller when you control it better, but one website i know has alot of info is --- www.dlife.com
