How do I make the swelling go down on my mosquito bite?

Question:
I got a mosquito bite on my forehead today and it's swollen up to be an inch in diameter in the past 4 hours. Is there anything that can make the swelling go down? It looks like I slammed my head into a truck!! It doesn't itch at all, so all I need is the swelling relief.

Answers:
Make a paste of baking soda and water, using just enough water to make the paste sticky. Spread the mixture on the bites.

Apply an ice pack or ice wrapped in a washcloth to the bite area.
Try putting a penny on it
but you did scratch at it didn't you? or else it would not have gotten that big..:-(

put some cortizone cream on it or a little ice pack.
