Donate Diabetes Glucose Meter/Monitor?

Question:
Anyone have a suggestion where I could donate some brand new, never opened glucose meters (used to monitor diabetes)?

Answers:
I have been told that no one really wants them, because the manufacturers give them away anyway. What low income groups really need is strips. What good is a free meter if you can't afford the strips?
If it is new and never used post it on craigslist.com or postaroo.com and someone will surely take it.
there's a church in my neighborhood that will take them. I can give you the address if you turn on your email.
Contact your local hospital or a health clinic near you.
Your local county health office should have a list of places that will take it.
Surely you have clinics in your area for low income people. They always need things to give to people and diabetes is no respecter of income. That would be a great place to donate, to people who really need it.
