How do you stop urself from itching an itch?

Question:
how can i avoid the actual itch? i have excema, school is starting i dont want any rashes from uncontrollable itching!

what are some ways that u guys prevent urselves from itching?

Answers:
I slap it lightly instead of scratching it--it's all about willpower.
I wet the area slightly either with some saliva or water and give it a gentle slap. Not too hard but it seems to help with the itch. You could also try some ice or a little vinegar. This is also helpful for ant or mosquito bites.
Hope this helps and enjoy school. Study hard!

calamine lotion!
Use some soothing gel like aloe vera gel to get some immediate relief. But for a permanent relief
1. Take a bath regularly
2. Wash your clothes regularly
3. Avoid eating food you are allergic to
4. Drink enough water.
slap it hard and it wont itch any more
Try to not think about it.
Calamine lotion helps also.
Or take some Anti-hysthamines before you go to school. And wear light cloth so you wont start sweating.
never make the area wet!
use some oil(ointments) on the area.
always keep the area oily.do not use strong soaps.(u can use some baby soaps)
u can also try some anti histamines such as HYRIXISINE syrup.
and finally try to extract ur mind from itching. do something... read a book... watch a movie...
cold wet rag...its so relieving and usually stops it
