How to get rid of or prevent blackheads?

Is there like a lotion or cream I can put on my face to prevent or get rid of blackheads? What can I do?

clean & clear: blackhead scrub
i let my nose get sun burned and when it peels the black heads come off. i know it sounds stupid but nothing else works.
Lotions and creams will further clog pores causing more blackheads. Wash with a soap/cleanser formulated for oily/blackhead/acne prone skin. Use an exfoliating scrub a couple of times a week. Follow with Witch Hazel as an astringent. Use Biore Pore Strips to get rid of blackheads like magic.
