I really like for me feet to look good. After getting a pedicure, what can be done to keep them soft.?

Question:
I don't have corns or bunions, but I do have hard skin around my heels and I hate it. I am used to my feet being well managed, but professionals, but can't afford that right now. What can be done to get my feet back soft, without dead skin?

Answers:
Exfoliate your feet well in the shower then put lotion all over your feet when you get out. More so on your heels. Slather it on good. Then wear cotton socks. The best time to do this is at night, that way you can wear sandals during the daytime. Works great for me.
Buy a pumice stone and use that in the shower. Afterwards put just a small amount of vaseline on them before putting on your socks. Works great.
You can get the same thing that they use on your feet in the store.. The files are really cheap and also a good foot lotion would also help... Both together will probably cost 8-10 dollars.. Check your local dollar store they may have them even cheaper.. Also Wal-mart..
