Dandruff problem!!!!!?
Question:
can someone help me
thank you
Answers:
Head & Shoulders or hydrates your scalp by using a moisturizing cream for your hair, especially a liquid one. I used to have a lot of dandruff and people were complaining while breading my hair! Hydrate your scalp and wash your hair once a week only, when you dry up your hair use a dryer at mild (lukewarm) temperature.
Best wishes!
Have you tried shampoos with tea tree oil? Or washing hair like every other day?
Try Head and Shoulders shampoo & conditioner for one week - that is what I have to do and it goes away. But do not use any other shampoo while you using Head & Shoulders. It does work. I have dark hair so it really shows. Then what you will also have to do is change the shampoo/conditioner you are using now because that can also be causing the dandruff.
OTC Selsun blue and Tegrin shampoos work
well
lather and let stay on the scalp/hair for at least 3 minutes , rinse
you dont say if have been examined at a Dermatologist
You could put baby oil on your scalp and leave it on overnight or for about four hours. Then you use 100% tea tree oil to shampoo the oil out with, recommend to shampoo, rinse and repeat. It usually takes a couple of times but it does help. Don't put the baby oil on too thick, it's better if you use the gel type of baby oil. IF that doen't help then you could use the Nizoral shampoo, it use to be availble only with a presciption but you now can get it over the counter.
Has your diet changed? Have you become pregnant? Have you rapidly gained or lost weight? Are your hormones out of whack? Anything could be a trigger. First off, don't panic. Skin sheds every day naturally, you lose hundreds if not thousands of skin cells every day. First, get yourself to a skin doctor or dermatologist. Get yourself a physical with your regular doctor. It may be resolved as simply as a prescription for shampoo containing tar if it's really bad.
My hair goes through cycles. When the weather changes from winter to spring and again from fall to winter, I have to start using head and shoulders. I also pump up my vitamin intake and gently moisturize my scalp on those times it gets very dry. I also try to protect my head and scalp with a covering like a cap so I don't sunburn my scalp which can also lead to major peeling like dandruff! Are you protecting your head and scalp from the elements or using chemicals that are irritating the skin at your scalp? I don't know what will help you, as everybody is different. It could go away simply by changing up your shampoo for two weeks to a clarifying one like Neutrogena.
